About
Empowered
Legacy Center

Empowered Legacy Center was founded on the belief that healing is a collaborative journey. We provide a supportive space grounded in cultural humility and personal connection, where each person’s experience shapes the path forward.

Guiding Your Healing Journey

We believe healing begins with being seen, heard, and understood. Our therapy is collaborative, grounded in cultural awareness, and shaped by your goals. Whether you're navigating stress, identity questions, or life transitions, we’re here to walk with you — not ahead of you.

Our approach is:

  • Culturally Aware: We honor your lived experience and background in every session.

  • Collaborative: Therapy is a partnership — your voice and goals guide the process.

  • Strength-Based: We focus on building clarity, confidence, and long-term resilience.

  • Judgment-Free: This is a safe space to be real, explore openly, and heal at your own pace.

About Frank Paul, LICSW

Founder, Empowered Legacy Center

Frank Paul is a licensed therapist and the founder of Empowered Legacy Center — a private practice rooted in culturally responsive, strength-based care. He specializes in supporting adults and young adults through anxiety, grief, identity development, and life transitions, with a focus on first-generation college students, men of color, and those navigating immigration, employment, or substance use-related challenges.

With a background in social work, Frank brings both professional insight and lived experience into his sessions. He creates affirming, judgment-free spaces where individuals can explore their strengths, process difficult experiences, and build a legacy of resilience and growth.

Frank’s approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. His sessions are grounded in trust, cultural awareness, and a deep belief in each person’s potential for meaningful change.

Outside of work, he finds energy and grounding through birdwatching, exploring nature, and playing basketball — practices that help him stay centered and connected to the communities he serves.

At Empowered Legacy Center, our work is guided by who we serve and how we show up. Here's a closer look at what that means.

Who We Serve

Empowered Legacy Center was created to support individuals often overlooked in traditional mental health care, including men of color and first-generation college students. We provide care that honors identity, community, and real-life experience.
